CPS 275

Hey There!!! Hope you're all enjoying your summer. As you know, Stampotique is Sponsoring Card Positioning Challenges for the month of July!  Here's my Card for today. Stampotique is sponsoring the challenge for the month of July and you KNOW that they have some of my FAVE FAVE FAVE images! Great Moon and Chessy! Carol and Jim also carry these fun ADAGE Tickets by Tim Holtz. I Stamped the Moon onto white cardstock, then I masked the image and sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.....Lavendar and Concord. I Coloured the Moon and Chessy with my Touch Markers by Shinhan arts. I very loosely coloured this image with little blend as I wanted a Cartoonish messy look!

Be sure to head on over to the CPS Blog and play along!

Teenage Tag

I've made this tag for a blog hop I'm involved in and I really think it could be given to any teenager anywhere in the world. I think teenagers are pretty universal - and sometimes I was a horrible one!

I've used ~{Glimmering Hope}~, ~{Bla Bla Bla}~ and ~{Mesh}~ to make it.

Today is a present

I recently bought a Tim Holtz die to make gift envelopes. Here is my first one. I added a matching card tot write a message on. These are the Stampotique stamps I used: Abstract folliage, Swirl stalks, Best buds and Today is a gift .... I stamped with distressinks and coloured the image with Tombow markers.

Have fun stamping!

Water U Thinking?

Our July guest designer, Gay is back with another share this week.

"I used the Spider wings again, sorry but they are just yummy ! And Smushallaum rising out of the sea with her newly acquired wings, we'd better watch out now she's mobile and out of the water!!!"

Isn't her coloring just phenomenal?  Love the little bit of shine on the wings and how she has been using this stamp.  Really makes me thing I need to break mine out and use them a little.

Gold card

I promised myself I'd do more Less is More challenges once Stampotique finished sponsoring them so this is the first one to start!!

I used ~{Carol's Flower}~ with gold embossing powder and cut it out, adding a bit of colour with a Copic that matched the button. There's a little bit of gold in the cord which was the best I could do and used ~{Happy Birthday}~ for the greeting.

Unique Flowers

Gay is sharing her first creation with us today as a guest designer.  I will tell you when I first saw this creation, I was in love and gave myself a good smack on the forehead...I mean, why didn't I think of that???

"I used the Stampotique Spider wings and the Birds and Bugs cube, which I stamped with black ink and coloured with Copics and Dylusion inks. I hand drew the stalks and pollen. Inside the card reads, 'Just like you'. I thought the wings made quite interesting flowers and lots more interesting variations are running through my head, so I'm very glad I have these stamps. They are going to be very versatile"

Marci by Daniel Torrente

We have had such an exciting month over here in the UK. We started with the official celebrations for the Queen's Jubilee, followed by the Olympic Torch making it's way around the country, so we are all in the mood for celebrating :-)

As part of my monthly art calendar I decided to turn Marci into the Queen (I'm sure Her Royal Highness would be very happy about that!) Marci was one of my first ever Stampotique stamps and I have to say she is also one of my faves. I think she looks great as royalty, don't you?!
