In Glass Houses

At the moment I'm really enjoying playing with memory glass so thought I would make another cube but with a twist, well, it's a rectangle really. It was very easy to make and is a charming little ornament. By using shrink plastic with your stamps you can make these whimsical little worlds, just don't throw stones!
Wishing you a lovely day, Sam xxx

The stamps I used are Line Up, Tulip and Steampunk Border.

  1. This is absolutely. freaking. awesome! :)

Seriously, this is the coolest - and cutest! - project I've seen in ages. I absolutely love it.

And now I have to work out how you made that fabulous "cube" (did you solder the memory glass pieces together?) so I can have a go at one too... :)

  2. This is an awesome piece. Would you consider sharing your technique. I'm sure a lot of us crafters would like to make some of our own.

  3. Oh my word, this is crazy clever. It's like a little terrarium to grow monsters. Such a creative use of the memory glass and the shrink plastic. I, too, am hoping for a tutorial :)
