Quickie CAS

I  made this card last week for a challenge, but didn't get round to posting it as my laptop has been playing up.

I used ~{Goat Monster}~ who is a hit with all the DT. I also used ~{Happy Birthday}~ for the greeting.

Pick Me

This is a postcard I made for a swap.

I love the new tree topper stamps by Daniel Torrente, I have used the large one for this. It makes me think of an excited child jumping up and down. I have also become the very proud owner of the Alphabitties Alphabet ( try saying that 4 times fast after a drink) and I think this is going to become one of my most used stamp sets now. I have used the Heart Vine as a filler and this stamp is perfect for that, I can see myself reaching for it a lot when I have a gap to fill.

Stamps Used

Large tree Topper
Alphabitties Alphabet
Heart Vine

Thank you for looking, Carol x

Tote-ing Around Monsters

Good morning Stampotique followers and friends!  Can you believe it is already fall?  Here in CO.  we are already dipping down into the 50's!!!  With Fall comes one of my favorite holidays...Halloween.  So in honor of the haunting season, I have a non-traditional monster 3x3 note card tote.

I have used the following stamps:  Grumpy Koala, Goat Monster, Top Hat, Little Hoo Hoo.  All by the talented Kira Nichols

Here is another shot of the individual 3x3 note cards

I also used Momento Ink to stamp these fun monsters!!!

Don't forget about this weeks challenge at the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog HERE.  We are doing Party Favors this week.  So show us what you give as favors at your parties!!!

Button It

I was recently given a 'cover your own button' kit, it's such a sweet idea and I immediately knew which stamp to reach for, Tiny Handhelds.
I stamped the images using black Staz On, on to some calico fabric and then stitched the outline in ordinary black cotton thread and added the pink details and a red cherry on the top of the cupcake.
Now all I have to do is sew them on to my favourite funky cardigan.
Thanks for looking, have a lovely day, Sam xxx

Get Well Bunny

I've used another one of ~{Maria's}~ bunnies to make this get well card.

I've stamped ~{Hung Out To Dry}~ and used DI's as watercolours, then die cut the card, blended the edge with ink and added a computer generated quote.

Call Me Maybe?

You know what it's like when you get a song in your head, well this has been in mine for months now lol.
This is the tag I made for France's challenge which is to combine stamps.
Stamps used are Mad Hatter, Bowtie, Karin, Queen of Hearts, Splatter Long and Vintage Script.
I love how Stampotique stamps go with the vibrant Pan Pastels.

Bird Cage

I've made a simple and quick card using one of the first stamps I got when I started on the Design Team. Every time I ink up one of these stamps, I think I should use them more often!

I've used ~{Bird in a Cage}~  which has been coloured with Copics and 'hung' from a chipboard branch. Then I added my favourite ~{Happy Birthday}~ greeting to finish off.

September Guest Designer: Anne Swinkels

We are very excited about our next guest designer, but first we want to say a big thank you to our August Guest Designer, Lisa Mason who has shared with some awesome artwork.

Our next guest designer is another familiar face, she is a frequent player in our Stampotique Designer's Challenge.  Please help us welcome Anne Swinkels this month.

My name is Anne Swinkels. I live in the Netherlands and work as a nurse. I've always been involved in creative activities. I sewed, knitted, painted and have been stamping for about 10 years now. Stampotique stamps are by far my favorite stamps! I am a member od several Dutch stampgroups and often stamp with my girlfriends, which really inspires me. I also love to read artbooks and hop blogs!

Here's one of Anne's pieces using

Here is one of Anne's masterpieces, I love how she combines the stamps (can you see she didn't just use Scooter Girl on this one?)

We are looking forward to seeing more from Anne this month and hope you will pop over to her blog Anne's Art Place and say "hi".

Also, if you haven't already seen the Blog Hop going on over Stampotique Designer's Challenge you might want to hop on over there...did someone say NEW RELEASES????
