Friendship

I haven't used my brayer for so long, so I wiped it off and went to work to do this card.  I love the simplicity of stamping on a brayered background.  I think it makes the image pop.  The main image with saying can be found here.  The flower that I used for the sun can be found here.
Thank you for stopping by,
Kim P.

Introducing Stampotique Originals new Designers

Please help Stampotique Originals welcome the newest members of our design team.  We are so excited to have them on board and hope you will leave them a little love and welcome them to the design team.

*sorry, some of the links were not working on the original post so reposting this*

Kaz created a project for this weeks Stampotique Designer's Challenge to use a template.

Again, welcome to the team gals, can't wait to keep up with what you are creating using the Stampotique stamps!

For anyone still wishing to join us in the challenge, this week our challenge is to use a template of some kind.  To see the details of the challenge, see this post.

Mushroom Group

This is one of the new templates from Creative Cuts & More called Rectangle Window A7 Scallop Card.  I love the larger size of this card and the scallops were perfect for some pearls.  I added a strip of 7 Gypsies Venice paper along the middle of the card and used my Scor-pal to score 2 lines outside of the papers.  The images I used are new stamps from Stampotique- Mushroom Group, Small Butterfly and Go Confidently.  I stamped my mushroom image with Dish All the Dirt Brown and on the backside I colored my image with my SU! markers.

Stampotique Design Team Call

Call for New Members on the
Stampotique Design Team

We have a few members of our design team that have taken a bit of an hiatus for awhile; Jo Capper-Sandon is busy finishing up her book, Sue Roddis is in the midst of moving to the middle east and Irina Blount will put her time into designing classes where she uses our stamps.  Because of these changes, we need to bring on some additional creators!

Please contact me personally at carol@stampotique.com if you are interested and also include your blog so that I can experience your style.  I will return emails to everyone who contacts me.  I can only take on two people, so please understand that the others will be kept in safekeeping for future need!
-------------------------------------------------------

What Stampotique expects from you!

1.  Willing to make a real commitment to the team
2.  Have your own blog and post at least weekly
3.  Place our logo, as well as the two DT badges, and link-to on your blog
4.  Partake in all Stampotique challenges (challenges happen every two weeks) unless prior notice to the DT coordinator
5.  Post a new card/piece of artwork on the Designers’ Blog in a fashion that allows the Designers’ Blog  to have something new at least once a week, with all DT members taking a rotating turn
6.  Visit the individual entrie’s blogs and comment on their work and also thank them for joining us for the challenge.

What YOU should expect from Stampotique!

1.  Supplies of RUBBER as needed and desired, as long as they are used for making items to post on either the Challenge site or Designers’ link.
2.  While a member of our DT, you will have a discount of 25% allowed on anything on the website.
3.  DT members will receive recognition on the Design Team Challenge blog and the Designers Blog, as well as the personal Stampotique blog

NB: Please note that Kim Howard is our newly appointed DT Coordinator.  She is adept with the computer so those type of questions go to her.  Kim will help you through all the loading of your work, etc.  She and Vicki Garrett are working together to write a detailed step-by-step of how to upload, etc. so that everyone has the information at their fingertips.

Enjoying 10-Second Cards!

I've been having a blast creating a little collection of 10 second cards to have on hand for - well, for whatever! I'm back to the basics of just enjoying the stamp, the ink and the paper in its simplest form! This little set is going to make a great mother's day gift for my mom! She's always sending little notes and baked goods to friends in the community. I know she'll like 'em :) I sure had fun making them! Pop on over to my blog for more 10 second cards and a challenge for you to join in making some too - just for the heck of it!

Have a wonderful day!
