The owl and the pussycat

Happy Thursday everyone!

While Kaz is hosting “something new” on the Designer’s Challenge Blog, I am attempting to stick to my something old resolution!  For today's post I began with a neglected overprinted background as inspiration for “the owl and the pussycat.”
In this mixed media piece I used:
